A multi-brand center for Belarusian engineering products will open in Russia's Novosibirsk Oblast, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik said as he met with Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast Andrei Travnikov.
Belarus and Novosibirsk Oblast of Russia have enormous potential to step up cooperation, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Novosibirsk Oblast Governor Andrei Travnikov, BelTA reports.
The document was signed by First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Chizhik and Deputy Chairman of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nikolai Pokhilenko.
The parties agreed on supplies of Gomelagrokomplekt equipment, fish fodder produced by Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC), food and seed potatoes, as well as frost-resistant seedlings.
“We have long-standing good relations with Novosibirsk. We have done a lot together, as we work across all areas of activities. It is great that today we have also been able to find new points of contact on which we can work with mutual benefits, and it is important that they cover various industries. These are passenger equipment, metro construction, and metro design. This is the subject we have discussed in detail today,” Vladimir Kukharev said.
