Nova Scotia’s Natural Resources Department says a 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with a massive wildfire in Shelburne County last spring.
Last week's wildfire in Yarmouth County, N.S., was the second largest in the province in half a century. And the risk for more large fires remains high.
The Natural Resources Department confirmed the presence of three rare species of lichens and will place 100-metre buffers around them at the site in question.
