The murder of Donnie Lohnes remains unsolved.
The RCMP Southwest Major Crime Unit says they are looking for any witnesses or information related to the death of Lohnes, who was attacked near his home in Pine Grove on October 25th.
Lohnes passed due to his injuries a week later while in the hospital.
Police believe an earlier altercation on the same day may have been related to the homicide.
That incident took place near Bridgewater Honda on Dufferin Street between 6-7 pm, and involved a group of people.
Investigators are asking any witnesses to the altercation earlier that day or to the assault on Lohnes, or anyone in the area at that time with information to contact the Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit at 902-365-3120, or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.

Failure to comply with release order – 9 counts Police describe Quinlan as a white man, 5-foot-10, 145 pounds, with blue eyes and dark brown hair. Police have made several unsuccessful attempts to locate Quinlan, and are now requesting assistance from the public. Anyone who sees Quinlan is asked to refrain from approaching him and to call police. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Barrington RCMP or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.

RCMP are asking for public assistance to locate a Queens County man who went missing three weeks ago.
Police say 55-year-old Lyndon Mooers from Milton is missing, and was last seen at 9 am on Dec. 4.
Mooers is described as a Caucasian male, 5-foot-9 and approximately 180 pounds. He has red hair and hazel eyes.
No description of his clothing was available.
Police say he may be driving a white 2011 Hyundai Sonata with Nova Scotia plate FMD295 – They say they are worried about his safety.
Anyone who spots Mooers, or has info on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Queens District RCMP or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
