Tampa Bay Buccaneers Notre Dame s Robert Hainsey started at right tackle throughout his college career but took to several different positions without difficulty at the Senior Bowl and greatly improved his stock on the Bucs draft board Scott Smith
Robert Hainsey started at right tackle for three seasons at Notre Dame and was part of an offensive line that saw three of its members drafted in the first two days of the 2021 NFL Draft. Hainsey never spent any time at a different spot on the line during that span, not even practice. But when he went to the Senior Bowl in January the assembled NFL coaches wanted him to try his hand at the three interior line spots and he didn t hesitate to comply.

With NFL free agency and trade speculation dominating the headlines, big-name veterans like Patrick Peterson, J.J. Watt, and Trent Williams are on the tip of everyone’s tongue. There are some cautionary tales for the Broncos through team annals when it comes to free-agent misses, and a few success stories to light the way forward for new GM George Paton. Here are two such free-agent signings from the past the Broncos have hit on and two the team has missed on.
The Cowboys should avoid using the 10th overall pick on an offensive tackle, and here’s why
The 2021 NFL Draft class is an anomaly.

As you may know by now, the Cowboys often go into NFL Drafts with a good grasp on the landscape of the draft, and how deep it is as certain positions. At times this can hurt them, when they reach for positions in certain rounds, due to how deep or not-deep however said position is throughout the draft.
Most recently, the Cowboys drafted Trysten Hill in the second round of the draft, passing up on safety and corner, because they liked some of the guys they could get later. Most notable was 2017, where the Cowboys drafted Taco Charlton in the first round, because of how WEAK the 2017 class was at defensive end, and also how DEEP it was at cornerback (grabbed Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis later).
