Milwaukee actor-entertainer John McGivern is working on a new television show that sounds a lot like the one he used to do for Milwaukee public TV but expanded to the whole upper Midwest.
The new travel show, John McGivern s Main Streets, is expected to begin airing in January 2022; outlets haven t been disclosed yet, but in an interview on The Morning Blend on WTMJ-TV (Channel 4) Wednesday morning, McGivern said it would air in major markets in Wisconsin, and in several of the other five Midwestern states the show will focus on: Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana and Michigan. Around the Corner With John McGivern, the entertainer s popular show for Milwaukee PBS, focused solely on neighborhoods in Milwaukee and around Wisconsin.
