Aldi stores in Ellon and Inverurie are joining the store’s Scotland-wide ‘Not Socks Again?!’ campaign – encouraging customers to donate any unwanted or extra unused socks they received as Christmas gifts.
Aldi encourages customers to donated unwanted socks for campaign SUPERMARKET Aldi has reminded customers that any unwanted socks in store until the end of January, as part of their ‘Not Socks Again?! campaign. The store launched the campaign on Boxing Day with more than 1,000 pairs already donated towards homeless charities, including Glasgow-based Simon Community Scotland. Alongside the donations of unwanted sock gifts from Christmas, Aldi is also making a £250 donation to each charity, which also includes Aberdeen Cyrenians and Trust in Fife. Richard Holloway, regional managing director for Scotland, said: “A massive thank you to all our customers and colleagues who have donated socks to this campaign so far.
