Margaret Finen of Finen Maple Products in Norwood recently presented Dan Monica, First Assistant Chief of Norwood Volunteer Fire Department, with a donation of $750 to the department. The money was raised from the proceeds of the Haunted Trail held during October in Finen’s sugar woods. Not only did the department help with lighting the parking area but also worked on the ‘haunted walk’ as well. Finen is encouraging the public to donate to the Norwood Fire Department, if possible, since the department hasn’t been able to fundraise this year due to Covid-19. A $500 donation to Potsdam Central Drama Club was also made, for the time students donated to assist in the haunted trail.’
