Perth Basin energy company Norwest Energy has advised that the Lockyer-2 gas appraisal well, a downdip step-out appraisal well to the Lockyer Deep-1 discovery, was spudded on 15 March 2023.
Norwest Energy has advised that the 385 km2 Rococo 3D seismic acquisition program has now been completed. The Ensign Rig 970 has mobilised to the Lockyer-2 well location and joint venture operator Energy Resources has advised that spudding of Lockyer-2 is expected to occur within the next week.
