Fuel cell developer PowerCell Sweden has presented an industrialized high-power fuel cell module especially developed for the electrification of marine applications.
As explained, the module is built on several fuel cell systems that have been integrated into a single unit. Each module has a power of 200 kW but can easily be connected in parallel to achieve power in the megawatt range.
Against the background of more stringent emission regulations for the marine vessels, the marine segment is facing a transition to new drive systems and fuels. PowerCell Sweden has introduced an industrialised high-power fuel cell module, which has been custom-built to facilitate the electrification of marine applications.
With a compact design and low weight, PowerCellution Marine System 200 has been built from numerous fuel cell systems which have been combined into a single unit.
Each module has 200kW of power, however, by connecting the modules in parallel, the power can easily be amplified to the megawatt range.
PowerCell Sweden AB is now presenting PowerCellution Marine System 200, an industrialized high-power fuel cell module with low weight and a compact format, especially developed for the electrification of marine applications. Marie System 200 is the basic building block in PowerCell Sweden’s complete hydrogen-electric solutions for the marine segment and can be connected in parallel .
