STAMFORD Investigators used fingerprints and social media to link a former New Canaan man to a string of burglaries that began in Stamford, and spread elsewhere in Fairfield County, over the past year, according to police.
Chance Perrone, 22, was arrested Tuesday on four counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of sixth-degree larceny, three counts of third-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.
Sgt. Sean Scanlan said Perrone started the spree in October 2019, shortly after he was released from prison for convictions on 13 prior burglaries.
