CHARLES TOWN—Dale Manuel, a former member of the West Virginia House of Delegates and the Jefferson County Commission, passed away Monday at Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 74.
CHARLES TOWN â More than 100 people gathered outside of Goldâs Gym in Charles Town on Sunday evening to remember the life of the businessâ general manager who passed away unexpectedly Dec. 23.
Anthony âTonyâ Markley, 29, of Ranson, had served as the gymâs general manager after working in various other capacities for several years.
âHe was loved by everyone at the gym, and we are all devastated by his death,â said Tracey Clabaugh, who helped organize Sundayâs gathering. âWe knew we needed to do something to show our love to his family.â
Candles were lit, as one after another, individuals came forward to write words of remembrance for Markleyâs family to show how much he meant to the Goldâs Gym family.
