A legislative panel on Tuesday endorsed the state Department of Education s requests totaling $30 million in state restricted reserve funds to pay for improvement projects at the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Arkansas School for the Deaf.
Three incumbents and two newcomers won seats on the Beltrami County Board in unofficial results of the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Craig Gaasvig, Richard Anderson and Tim Sumner all were reelected, while newcomers Joe Gould and John Carlson also earned victories.
The Northwest Minnesota Foundation has already given out $1 million in the first quarter of its fiscal year, as its switching to regular impact statements to help give a broader understanding of everything the organization does throughout the region.
