Incumbent state Rep. Tony Brockman, R-Evergreen, sparred with his GOP challenger Lukas Schubert over who was more fit to serve House District 8 during a candidate forum Wednesday.
Republican incumbent Rep. Tony Brockman is running against challenger Lukas Schubert in the June primary. Democratic Beth Sibert has also filed to run for the seat.
Known as Tronstad Meadows and Whitetail Crossing, the proposed neighborhoods near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Tronstad Road are expected to see about 380 single-family homes go up on roughly 110 acres of land.
