TORRINGTON – The board of directors of the Cancer Care Fund of the Litchfield Hills has recently appointed Susan Smith as its new executive director.
Smith has been a board member for three years.
Her first priority was to update the fund’s website (ccflh.org), which is now complete and features the latest information on fundraising events and the ability to donate online. Smith, of Harwinton, will also be using social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram to promote activities and fundraisers and sending out an annual appeal later in the year.
