It is with broken hearts that the family of Toby Munro announces his passing on August 5, 2023 in Thunder Bay, ON at the age of 53. Toby worked as a Manager of Facilities and Operations for the Northwest Catholic School Board for many years.

The new year has just started, but local school boards want to know what the next school year should look like.
Two school calendars are up for review.
One would start school on August 30th, with two PD days and the first day of school on September 1st.
The final day of school would be on June 24th.
The second option would have the first day of school a week later of September 8th and the school year would go to the final week of June of 2022 with the last day of school falling on June 30th.
