it s just in the extreme northeast caribbean and moving to the atlantic. it will continue this northwest bath the next couple days and then turn to the west. i fear when it turns to the west, that s when you will see it become a major hurricane. so there are two different computer models that are that we look at quite a bit. the one that has it further north is usually the one that breaks down the big high pressure to the north too quickly. we noticed it over the years. it s a new version of that model. the other model is taking this right through south florida, south central florida on into the gulf. i ll tell you, one of my fears is that in 1947, for those that don t have the track there, went into ft. lauderdale as a category four or five and then went back to new orleans. this one at this time looks like we ll see some kind of landfall between ft. lauderdale and daytona beach during the day sunday or sunday afternoon.
