Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct 14 (EMN): Lulu Nienu was on Friday night declared winner of the 9th Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2022 organised by Fountain Club and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) at RCEMPA in Jotsoma village under Kohima district. The champion, a Class 9 student of Minister’s Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School (MSBHSS), Kohima, walked away with INR 60,000, a citation and a trophy, while the second winner, Salevizo Kuotsu from The Vineyard pocketed INR 40,000, a citation and a trophy and the third winner Pratyasha Pattnaik from G Rio School pocketed INR 20,000 and fourth winner Kekhriengunuo Solo from Northfield School pocketed INR 15,000. The Young Speller Award was awarded to Tsunivi Chushi of Rincho Academy and was awarded INR 4000. Advisor for School Education and SCERT, KT Sukhalu, graced the closing function as the special guest and gave away the prizes to the winners.
