The office of the Inspectorate of Government (IGG) has cleared 79 groups to benefit from the Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) III in Kiryandongo District three years after the process was halted to weed out ghosts.
The groups, which were formed in 2017 from eight watersheds, were meant to receive Shs 2.1 billion, but the then Chief Administrative Officer, Ms Dorothy Ajwang, put the process on hold on suspicion that the numbers had been inflated.
