Agreement with the county. It says mgm must hire minority owned businesses for 30 of the total construction. They have to give the county Council Reports to show if theyre actually living up to that agreement. Just yesterday mgm told the counsel they were. Im happy to tell you that mgm exceeded the goals for local and business participation in two categories. Reporter but the minority Business Owners in this lawsuit continue to say its not true. They believe the contracts mgm gives to minor run businesses are much smaller than what was promised and other firms are getting the high dollar ones. They have comfortable relationships. Some of our contractors dont have those. Reporter 1 contractor working with mgm says that hasnt been his experience and hes working with mgm on three different contracteds.
