The Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) is pleased to announce that it has signed a set of long-term Purchase Agreements with the Geysers Power Company, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Calpine Corporation, to supply renewable geothermal energy and capacity to the City of Santa Clara’s public power utility Silicon Valley Power (SVP), and potentially other NCPA members, for the period of 2025-2036.
