The Northern California Power Agency recently signed a set of long-term power purchase agreements to supply renewable geothermal energy and capacity to Silicon Valley Power, the public power utility serving the City of Santa Clara, and potentially other NCPA members.
The Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) is pleased to announce that it has signed a set of long-term Purchase Agreements with the Geysers Power Company, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Calpine Corporation, to supply renewable geothermal energy and capacity to the City of Santa Clara’s public power utility Silicon Valley Power (SVP), and potentially other NCPA members, for the period of 2025-2036.
