Butte County:
Greenhouse Studio & Gallery Summer Art Fair
The Greenhouse Studio and Gallery will have painters, jewelers, welders and more during its Summer Art Fair on June 12 and June 13. Food will be provided by Panini Machini as the shows will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greenhouse Studio and Gallery.
Veterans encouraged to take part in Virtual Arts Cafe
The Museum of Northern California Art (MONCA) partnering with the Veterans Art Project to host a virtual Statewide Pop-Up Community Creative Arts Café.

CHICO, Calif. - The Museum of Northern California Art (MONCA) partnering with the Veterans Art Project to host a virtual Statewide Pop-Up Community Creative Arts Café.
The curated, interactive virtual event will feature Northern California artists who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. It will also include presentations by art and music therapists.
Participants will also be introduced to mental health resources available to area veterans. The project receives ongoing support from California s Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission.

Organizers have canceled the Butte County Silver Dollar Fair for the second time in two years. CEO, Nick Digrazia said they cannot put together a viable fair because of current restrictions. The fair will continue to hold livestock auctions and organizers announced a harvest fair, that will take place this October.
The Museum of Northern California Art in Chico will open its doors at 11 this morning. Up until now, the museum has been holding virtual tours for the artwork inside. Admission at Monca is half off today to celebrate. The hours are 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
