The Wake Forest Cougars remained unbeaten on the year on Tuesday as they won a key conference game against the Rolesville Rams to strengthen their grip on first place in the 4A Northern Athletic conference.
Byrum, Rogers shine as Rolesville blasts Holly Springs, 41-0

The Rolesville Rams made quick work of the Holly Springs Golden Hawks at home on Friday night in the first round of the NCHSAA 4AA state football playoffs.
Wide receiver Cyrus Rogers was involved from the opening kick-off, which he took all the way to the Holly Springs 31-yard line.
From there, Rogers found the end zone as star quarterback Byrum Brown found him for a 21-yard touchdown pass.
On the ensuing Holly Springs drive, Damon Burton came up with a sack for Rolesville on third down which forced the Golden Hawks to punt.
