Show Transcript Just learned construction can now proceed on a 53 mile stretch that is a critical part of the billion dollar Northeast Energy Energy Corridor, the first U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling a short time ago by rejecting a request to delay that construction. While conservation groups sued for an environmental review, the ruling essentially allows the construction to begin. A federal judge had previously rejected their request for a delay as well. The billion dollar project would bring Canadian hydropower through Maine to the new England grid.
