Police have identified the victim in a fatal crash near Portland International Airport on Thursday, April 29.
She is Jamie R. Pallviny-Brown, 43, who was the passenger in a car that crashed into a Freightliner tractor with a box trailer.
The driver of the car, a 56-year-old male, is hospitalized with serious injuries.
The 40-year-old driver of the semi-truck was not hurt. He remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
According to police, at 5:51 p.m. April 29, Port of Portland police and North Precinct officers responded to a report of a crash in the 5100 block of Northeast Cornfoot Road. When the officers arrived, they located a serious injury crash. Medical crews arrived and determined that one vehicle occupant was dead.
