This year’s graduating seniors in Wilkes County schools began their high school careers amid one of the most tumultuous times ever in American schools.
The numbers weren’t fully crunched by press deadline, but comments of fans, vendors and others indicate that an outstanding lineup and weather made MerleFest 2024 a huge success.
National Poetry Month was celebrated with the sixth annual James Larkin Pearson Poetry Competition at Whippoorwill Academy and Village in Ferguson on April 20.
