WASHINGTON TWP Firefighters had to cut the roof off of a car to free a man in his 30s after the car he was driving rolled over in the area of 417 Hilliard Avenue in the township Thursday evening.
The man was then taken by ambulance to the nearby grounds of the North Washington Rodeo, placed in a medical helicopter and flown to a Pittsburgh hospital with possible internal injuries.
State police, the North Washington and Eau Claire volunteer fire departments and Karns City Regional Ambulance Service responded to the one-car accident that occurred at 5:50 p.m.
