HEALTH and Care students at Coleg Llandrillo’s Rhyl campus have been busy collecting a wide range of presents for a charity’s Christmas Toy Box appeal. The Level Two students, in collaboration with pupils from Ysgol Emmanuel primary school in Rhyl, aim to put smiles on children’s faces, who without the help of kind hearted supporters, face not having a present to open on Christmas Day. Margaret Williams, founder of the North Wales Super Kids’ charity, and promoter of its Christmas Toy Box appeal, said: “Every year we hear about a growing number of children and families in these circumstances and every year we need more and more presents to bag up and send to every child or young person aged from one to 18.” Programme Leader for Level Two Health and Social Care, Hailey Hockenhull, said: “We are delighted with the response from our students.”
