Woman airlifted to hospital after falling off horse near Bath Racecourse Multiple emergency crews attended the incident on Saturday morning Updated (Image: Bath Live) A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling from her horse near Bath Racecourse. Emergency crews raced to a footpath between North Stoke and Lansdown on Saturday morning where the incident happened. The woman was rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries. A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: We were called on Saturday at 9.13am about an incident on a public footpath between North Stoke and Lansdown near Bath. The caller reported to us that someone had fallen from a horse. We treated a female patient and conveyed her to hospital by air ambulance with a serious leg injury.”
