Thursday night, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 600 block of South Washington in reference to a property damage report. Officers spoke with the caller, who said she heard a bang and then saw a female who she knew to be a friend of the victim trying to get into the victim s apartment. The caller said she spoke to the suspect, who admitted to breaking a window in the front of the apartment. The victim, Gregg Bernard Cravens, was contacted and confirmed that the suspect was not to be there. A UTT was issued for property damage.

On the afternoon of February 25th, a motor vehicle was stopped at West 14th Street and South Carr Avenue for no registration. During the stop, a passenger was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Pettis County for Driving While Intoxicated. Don Charles Soriano Palmerin Jr., 21, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail for processing, pending a $250 cash bond.
Shortly after 2:00 a.m. Friday, Officers responded to the 600 block of North Quincy Avenue in reference to a disturbance with weapons. Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with the caller. The caller stated that her daughter s boyfriend was inside threatening her with a knife. Charges for Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree will be requested to the prosecutor. There was no further information in the report.

Tuesday night, an Officer responded to the 400 block of North Quincy Avenue for a reference to a property damage call. Latreal Grant stated that while he was away, a person known to him had damaged the front door frame. The charge of Property Damage in the 2nd Degree will be submitted to the prosecutor.
Early Wednesday morning, Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to use its turn signal and failed to stop at a red light. The vehicle was stopped near Wilkerson and Moniteau. Officers made contact with the driver, and smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver also did not have a valid driver s license. Officers searched the driver s person and found marijuana. Ferris Lee Higginbotham Jr., 24, of Sedalia, was issued two City Summons; one for No Operator Status and the other for Possession of Marijuana. Higginbotham was released
