Exactly, rosemary, this is a continuation of the bitter cold we dealt with yesterday. Hopefully you stayed indoors all day long yesterday, thats what i did, because it was just cold the entire day. In fact, throughout friday the temperatures actually fell instead of picked up like they typically would. And theyve been continuing to fall throughout the night. Take steps to protect the homeless. Philadelphia and other parts of our area have a code blue in effect today. In philly the Homeless Outreach overnight has brought at least 50 people to warm indoor places. All seemingly back to normal after weather caused some traffic problems. Skyforce 10 was overhead following black ice issue last night. We normally dont see salt trucks until december or january. It was closed for a time but back open this morning. With the burst of bitter air cranked up, folks are adding on the layers for events this weekend. One of those events the annual rocky run.
