a sad story out of chardon, ohio, we re expecting probably about an hour and a half or so because of of course, an hour behind us, students are going to start returning to classes there. dons tons of grief to deal with and post traumatic stress. first time since monday s shooting that those students will all be coming together. alleged shooter, t.j. lane, now charged with three counts of aggravated murder. he s charged as a juvenile but they re expecting that he will be prosecuted as an adult. the football coach, frank hall, he is the guy who chased the gunman out of the school. we heard from him for the first time isn t the shooting yesterday. here s what he said. the families of danny, demetrius, and russell, i want you to know that i was with them. i prayed with them, i wiped their tears, i know god was with them. i don t know why this happened. i only wish i could have done more. i m not a hero. i m just a football coach and study hall teacher. the law enforcement, firs

you have to have the cold air. windchills are minus 25. the cold air is coming down from canada and is going to meet a big storm tonight coming out of texas. right now, we have light, freezing rain developing over st. louis. light snow over minneapolis, back down over southern wisconsin. that s just a little appetizer over what s to come. the big storm is tonight into tomorrow. this is our latest computer projections. the area of pink is 6 to 12 inches of snow. now, in between that, there s a layer that s going to be about one to two feet. this could go through chicago, detroit, much of northern illinois and north of st. louis and down into kansas city. so far, looking at snowfall totals, definitely chicago and detroit, you re going to be the highest with one to one and a half feet. des moines and kansas city, right behind them. now, the other side of this storm is ice. snow, you can deal with, get out of the way. we expect to see a significant ice storm.
