We want to get to cindy with the rain coming down this morning. Its raining. That is a welcome this thing foa lot of us. Steadier, light rain generally, kind of moving slowly from west to east across the state right now. You get into the darker greens and the yellows, and we have more moderate rain coming down. Some embedded, heavier pockets of rain. Around framingham towards boylston, and more to the north, southwest New Hampshire, especially, and even parts of the north shore, and back to the low. Were seeing the pockets of where the rain is coming down the area with heaviest rain will shift down into southeastern massachusetts. Thats where we have a flash flood watch. There could be some localized flooding here. Were watching an area of low pressure to the south Getting Better organized. And you can see that there is lightning in the water south of long island. This low is going to track too far south to bring that heavy rain everywhere but it will focus over southeastern massachuse

Kevin the surf could be five to ten feet today. It is interesting. Certainly more than were used to normally. We could see dangerous rip currents at times. Theres a High Surf Advisory in effect. Stop the presses and check this out. A couple of rain showers during the overnight hours. Thats sweet music to a lot state that have been the most drought affected in far southern New Hampshire. They really made it up about as far north as manchester or so. Well widen the view. You can see the spinning action going on right there to the south of new england.
