A Santee teenager who had been missing since last weekend was found safe and reunited with her family, according to the San Diego County Sheriff s Department.
The department tweeted the update about the teenager at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
No other details have been released by authorities.

On Wednesday, Pettis County Deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 36000 block of Route KK. A suspect was identified, but was not yet located at the time of the report.
On Wednesday, John Walker reported to deputies that his license plates were stolen off his vehicle while it was parked at either the 400 block of North Magnolia, or Bothwell Regional Health Center. The plates were entered as stolen.
On Monday, Pettis County Deputies took an assault report of a special victim located at 333 South Lamine in Sedalia. Formal charges were requested for 3rd degree assault/special victim.
