Repository staff report CANTON TWP.  Goodwill has opened a new attended donation center in the North Industry area. The new center opened at 2536 Cleveland Ave. SW, also known as state Route 800, next to BellStores Marathon. Household goods, appliances and other donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays, according to a news release from Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio. The drop-off centers are staffed by Goodwill employees and the donations they take are sold in Goodwill retail stores. The donations help support Goodwill s 27 community outreach programs, according to the news release, which cites a tremendous need for household items.
