Horny Adams, 94, of Meriden, formerly of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at MidState Medical Center, Meriden. She was the beloved wife to the late Clarence W. Adams. Doris was born in the Bronx, New York on February 20, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Harry George and Helen Marie Horny. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Yale Motor Inn, Wallingford for many years. Doris was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, North Haven Art Guild, winning many awards for her oil paintings.
