Northeast grocery chain Shop Rite is shuttering five stores in New York. The sale of the locations has been finalized, with Price Chopper/Market 32 taking ownership. Market 32 is transforming the Niskayuna and North Greenbush stores into grocery stores, while the rest remain undetermined at this time.
Price Chopper/Market 32 said it plans to convert the Niskayuna and North Greenbush locations into Market 32s. Niskyauna currently has a Market 32 about nine minutes away in Mohawk Commons.
