ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Two 15-year-old boys were cited at 1:19 p.m. Monday on city ordinance violations for fighting on school property at Jacksonville High School, 1211 N. Diamond St.
• Dekelvion D. Allen, 18, of 726 Serenity Lane was cited on a charge of driving while license is revoked after being stopped at 10:35 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Brooklyn Avenue.
THEFTS, BURGLARIES
• A wallet was taken between 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday from a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of North Fayette Street. The wallet later was found, but a debit and Link card were missing.

A Jacksonville man lost control of his vehicle causing property damage in the 300 block of West College Avenue this afternoon.
Jacksonville Police were summoned to the new Morgan County COVID-19 testing site at 4:57PM. A caller had reported that a truck spun out of control and rocks from the incident had broken their window.
According to an initial police report, a truck driven by 44 year old Michael D. Dyer of the 1000 block of North Fayette Street was traveling eastbound in the 300 block of West College Avenue when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle. The truck traveled north across the oncoming lane of traffic and up over the curb onto the boulevard. As the truck continued across the boulevard, the passenger side rear fender struck a tree. From the river to the rails, King Street is adorned in its holiday best as lamp posts have been brought to life with a display of art work as part of the first Old Town Holiday Lamp Post Art Walk.
Mayor Justin Wilson kicked off the inaugural holiday Art Walk Dec. 5 with a ribbon-cutting on South Union Street. In attendance were members of the Old Town Business Association and The Art League, who partnered on the project. Ryan Fowler, CEO of presenting sponsor Boundary Properties, was also on hand for the kick-off.
The Old Town Business Association collaborated with 25 artists from The Art League to create holiday-themed lamp post art pieces along King Street and select side streets. The self-guided Art Walk will run through Jan. 8, 2021.
