Part of Lake Shore Road Washed Away, Leaves Sinkhole [PHOTO]
If you live in the southtowns, you may have experienced water problems on Thursday afternoon either with low water pressure or no water at all for a few hours.
That s because of a major water main break in the Town of Evans late Thursday morning. According to Fire Buffalo NY, it was a 48-inch water transmission water main near the Erie County Water Authorities Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant.
The result were numerous houses along Lake Shore Road flooded, along with part of the road being washed away entirely, leaving a massive sinkhole.
