The local elections for Essex County Council are set to take place in May 2021, and the members of the council s Harwich Division of the Harwich Branch of the Labour Party have reselected Mr Henderson as their Harwich Division candidate. Mr Henderson, who lives in Dovercourt, has been the local county councillor since May 2013 and the members selected him to stand again at a selection meeting held on line on Thursday evening. Maria Fowler, acting chair of the Harwich and North Essex Constituency Labour Party, said: “Labour has a very strong, hard working team of councillors serving the Harwich Peninsula and Ivan Henderson is a key part of that team.
