Police apprehend suicidal man after violent incident with family
Police in 100 Mile House had to act quickly and cautiously while dealing with a man who was suffering a mental health incident.
According to RCMP, on Friday at 6:52 am, officers and members of the North District Provincial Support Team attended to a suicidal man in the Fallsway Road area of Lone Butte. It was reported that the 38-year-old Caucasian man had gotten violent with his family prior to police arriving.
The man allegedly grabbed a large kitchen knife before exiting the residence. He was found in a travel trailer located on the property.
