(Fargo, ND) – The North Dakota Republican Party State Convention wrapped up Saturday with three endorsements – Governor, United States Senate and United States House. In the North Dakota Governor’s endorsement, only one candidate, current United States House member Kelly Armstrong, was nominated – resulting in Armstrong being named the endorsed candidate for Governor.
It was a long day at the NDGOP in Fargo, as it kicked off with a nearly two-hour debate on whether or not Dickinson's District 37 delegates should be allowed to take part in the convention.
The general election is still seven months away, but right now, North Dakota's two main political parties, the NDGOP and the Dem-NPL, are already getting into the swing of things in Fargo.
