HAZLETON, Pa. Flames broke at a home along North Cedar Street in Hazleton just after 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Fire officials believe the fire started in the wall and got trapped in the ceiling.
One man was home at the time. He was able to make it out safely.
Fire crews say it took about 20 minutes to get the flames under control.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation in Luzerne County.

City officials say plans that have been in the works since the 1980s will come to fruition in 2021.
Tahlequah Mayor Sue Catron said the pandemic affected several key projects this year. The city runs on a fiscal year that runs from July 1 to June 30, so the end of a calendar year doesn t have quite the same impact that it does on some other businesses, said Catron. This is a good time to review progress, though, because COVID-19 has impacted pretty much everything.
