MPD: Woman arrested in connection with shooting at James Madison Park

Police were sent to the area of East Gorham and North Blount streets shortly after 11 a.m. for a report of a person who suffered a gunshot wound. Officials arrived and found the 36-year-old victim, who was brought to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
An updated incident report from Thursday said Amanda Lenti, 32, was arrested with the help of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office after officials received an anonymous tip from the community.

Man shot in arm at James Madison Park, police say

MADISON, Wis. A man was shot in the arm at James Madison Park on Wednesday, officials with the Madison Police Department said.
Officers were dispatched to the area of East Gorham and North Blount streets shortly after 11 a.m. for a report of a man with a gunshot wound.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
