Choices Community Shop on Fullarton Street is open from 10am to 1pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Irvine residents can now access low-cost produce as part of North Ayrshire Council’s community food network. Choices Community Shop on Fullarton Street is the latest North Ayrshire Fairer Food project and is available to those with a KA12 postcode. The project is part of the council’s dignified approach to food insecurity and aims to help people access high quality food whilst making their money go further. Kilwinning s Cranberry Moss Community Larder opens for residents

Residents in the Pennyburn, Whitehirst and Blacklands areas of Kilwinning now have the opportunity to get local access to a variety of low-cost produce. The council’s latest community pantry will include fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, tinned goods and personal hygiene products. North Ayrshire Council has been supporting community organisations as they co-produce a North Ayrshire community food network known as North Ayrshire Fairer Food, following on from the initial coronavirus lockdown. Cranberry’s Community Larder in Kilwinning was launched in partnership with North Ayrshire Council following the successful launch of Ardrossan’s Quaint Larder and the Woodwynd Wee Shoap.
