North Andover awarded 18 cultural grants
North Andover is getting more than $11,000 in grants for cultural programs.
Anna Choi, chair of the North Andover Cultural Council, and Select Board member Janice Phillips recently announced 18 grants being awarded to North Andover by the Mass Cultural Council.
The North Andover Cultural Council is part of a vast network of 329 Local Cultural Councils in Massachusetts. The LCC program raises money and support for community-based arts, science and humanities projects every year.
Specific recipients are chosen by local cultural councils. The members of the North Andover Cultural Council are Choi, Brian Middleton-Cox, Stephanie Aude, Wendy Smith and Brooke Paige.
