Good news to pass along even though the fire continues to burn we did get an update from cal fire this morning and they did say the numbers remain the same it still 20 containment but more importantly the acreage remains at 5400 so i did not grow in the overnight hours and more importantly did not explode in the overnight hours. However it did more than triple from 24 hours ago i was i was at this location. 24 hours ago and it was at 1500 acres now were sitting at 5400 acres but more importantly. No fatalities and no injuries and 2 structures have been destroyed, but theyre not homes. This is an area you dont see any cars other than the media or the Fire Department because its still closed off to the public. Walnut creek as you said for much of the afternoon things are pretty peaceful. The message out here was positive.
