Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk pays tribute to Prince Philip

The Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk has paid tribute to The Duke of Edinburgh after his death aged 99, saying he was undoubtedly, a true friend of Nelson s county.
On Friday, April 9, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Philip died at Windsor Castle, leading to tributes pouring in from all over Norfolk, as well as mourners leaving flowers outside the Norwich Gates of Sandringham.
Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, Philippa Dannatt, the Lady Dannatt, MBE, said he would be mourned deeply throughout the county.
She said: “It was an immensely sad moment for us all here in Norfolk when word of the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, reached us.
