Three Falconer Chester Hall schemes were put on hold after police investigation into Elliot Lawless
Developer Elliot Lawless has agreed a deal which will see a £70m residential tower in Manchester stalled by a police investigation sold to its original investors.
Work on Falconer Chester Hall’s 300-home Residence tower ground to a halt following a fraud probe into Lawless launched by Merseyside police in late 2019.

Main contractor Careys walked away from the scheme last year following Lawless’ arrest. The tower is already more than two years behind schedule following the collapse of its original main contractor Forrest in 2018.

Two teenagers have been released under investigation following a flat fire in Grimsby.
Officers were called to the scene of a fire at Norfolk Court on Bedford Street at 9.10am on Sunday morning, with Humberside Fire and Rescue battling the flames.
Three engines were called to handle the blaze which was in a first-floor flat.
Eyewitnesses said at the time the fire engulfed the majority of the property.
Nobody was injured in the incident - but significant fire damage, including smoke damage to the outside walls could be seen at the time.

Cambs Times reader Joan Munns is concerned that nothing is being done to address the problems that cause flooding in many parts of March. Drains in Station Road are pictured.

Pictured are photographs of non-drains in Station Road, March.
We feel so sorry for the poor people who were flooded by the heavy rain on December 23.
As it rained on that day we watched the water rushing from Station Road into Milner Close, mercifully going down our very efficient drains.
Between Milner Close and the town centre, there are several road drains and most either do not take water or are so badly positioned that water doesn t go near them.
