This monday will present a few obstacles. The first will be dense fog which will not only cause low visibilities, but some slick roads too, so plan for a slower morning commute, especially in northern siouxland where there is a dense fog advisory in effect early this morning. The second of our issues will be a quick round of light snow that will move across the viewing area which will cause 13 inch snow accumulations. That will exit this evening and leave us dry for the next few days with some milder temperatures. Highs will even make it into the 40s by the end of the week with another small chance of a snow shower or two this saturday. See graphics.
