MUZAFFARABAD/MANSEHRA: As many as 10 people, including women and children, died while four other injured when the rooftop of a house caved in due to heavy rain in Tai Mandhool village of.
They said the accident occurred due to over-speeding near the Ismaila Interchange.
Rescue 1122 personnel and locals pulled out four bodies and three injured from the cars and shifted them to a hospital in Mardan.
They said the family was travelling in two cars from Swat to Peshawar.
Those killed in the accident were identified as Zahir Shah, 60, Noreen Begum, 40, Nazameen Bibi, 54, and Roqiyya Bibi, 42. Saleem Khan, husband of Noreen Begum, was seriously injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was killed when a truck knocked him down on the Swabi-Jehangira Road. The deceased was identified as Kamran Khan of Nowshera district.
